Coloring and Carving Pumpkins

Go Big Red, Eli, and Hannah's Elmo - she is ok with him for a while and then she gets scared.... And Happy Birthday to Daddy today!

Hannah much preferred using markers to "color" the pumpkins rather than the "icky" insides of the pumpkin. She repeated asked if she could go "wash hands- icky" while we were carving. Needless to say, paper and the outside of the pumpkins are what she likes best with her colors!
Haven't quite decided on a hand...

Daddy's Lil' Pumpkins!

Hannah's daycare has a yearly Halloween parade and trick 'or' treat walk around the building. Her daycare is also a place where parents can get help parenting especially for low-income and young families. Read more at www.childsaving.org. Anyway, here are a couple of CUTE pumpkins (their mother may be a bit bias).

Miss Becky holding Eli...wanting mommy and daddy to go on a date so she can babysit...Hannah agrees. Hannah's friends Ava (Minnie), Alex (fireman), and Lucy (princess) checking Eli out too.

Happy Birthday Hannah 2!

My 2-year-old birthday official photo...trying out the bike outside - purse and sunglasses are necessary accessories as always!

Happy Birthday Hannah!

Cheese! I am 2 years old today! We had a party with my grandparents and Great Grandma Miller...all Elmo! We went to a pumpkin patch during the day and had a fun Elmo party at night. Just when I didn't think things could get better, they did - pumpkin patch, naptime, Elmo dinner, cake and presents...could life get much better? My parents can't believe I am 2!

Pure joy for Elmo cake!
More cheese...at my new table where I am having quite the tea party!
The table was set!
Fun at the pumpkin patch being a cow! Moo!
What am I supposed to do with these candles?
My cake before I devoured it. Just for the record...my mom says that 2-D cakes are much faster to frost than 3-D ducks!
My new lamb!
And...my new bike and helmet. Mommy and daddy had me open the helmet first and I asked quite matter-of-factly "where's my bike?" I didn't know I was getting a bike, but know that helmets go with bikes...many laughs.

What a great weekend with our beautiful 2-year-old sweet girl!

Silly Hannah with Blocks

Derek's friend at work gave Eli some fabric blocks. Ironically Hannah has claimed them for her own much like most of his other gifts...so nice that he was born to get presents for her...hahaha. Anyway, this is Hannah being a goof with blocks on her back.
A block hat while rocking furiously on the rocking chair.
Sweet girl.
A hat for Eli AND Hannah...
Cheese.

Black and White

Good night kiss from the big sis.

"I Wear my Sunglasses at Night..."

Relaxing with hands behind my head...couldn't be sweeter...
This is how we found Hannah in bed last night...lots of stuffed animals and babies and some sunglasses. This was a new twist to her night routine. "Monkeying around."

Eyes Wide Open...

Is anybody looking?
Daddy and me...the boys...
Caught with my eyes open...so sweet.
Hamming it up with my sister...she likes me most days.
Two cute kids! (My mom may be slightly bias.)

Bathtime

A family affair for bath number one with Mr. Eli...
Welcome to my "gun" show - check out those muscles...yes we also need to work on more blue washclothes in the house.
Aahh...feels good in here. I actually opened my eyes for the occasion! I only do that a few times a day...my sister opened her eyes a lot more than I do. It must be my laid-back personality-quick temper-but laid back little guy.
Saaweeett!

A Few More...

Smirking...only get to see these eyes a couple of hours every day. This is hour 49 of life...sweet.
Hello!! Trying to compete with Hannah...much quieter.
Getting ready to go home...praying it isn't too cold with the newly fallen inches of snow.

Our relaxed and laid back boy...
Proud Grandma Karen and Papa Don.
Go BIG RED! Eli brought some luck in the 4th quarter that night...better late than never.
A first glimpse at "E-I"

First moments home and Hannah wanted to hold "E-I" with mommy...we've got a pretty excited big sister!
