Fellow Blog Fans...We have been extra busy! My good friends Lori and Mike got married last weekend and daddy has been out of town all week. Mommy and I missed him a lot. We'll post more pics next week, but mommy is out of town this weekend. How lucky am I that I get my mommy for a week and now my daddy for the weekend all to myself!

Mommy and Daddy decided it was time to try food after I got to try some ice cream from Grandma Kathy (of course) in the Denver airport on our trip. I LOVED the ice cream. Here are my first few moments with rice cereal - I only eat it when mixed with breast milk and warmed to my liking - otherwise I just let it sit on my tongue!

Today my uncle Josh defended for his Ph.D in Chemistry. My mommy went to Lawrence and told me all about it when she got home. I was sooo excited that I told her we needed pictures to mark such a momentous day. I am sooo proud of him...mommy said he gets to graduate with honors too! I always knew he was pretty smart! Congratulations Dr. Joshua D. Waetzig, Ph.D Chemistry! P.S. Daddy mentioned something about Dick Clark calling??
