Christmas Eve to Christmas Day 2009

Can anyone say spoiled?

Papa helping Hannah with her new Dr. kit...Ernie is known as "Bernie" at our house...

My easel...chalk and marker board...again...someone may be a bit spoiled by grandmas and grandpas.

Christmas Day....Some food...yes she actually licks it and puts it in her mouth....  Anyway, Hannah was a joy to watch open presents.  She really just wanted to play with everything the minute she opened it - very grateful for everything!

Taking time out to talk to my "peps"

My great aunt Liz sent this CUTE apron, purse, and necklaces from my late Great Grandma Bowen.  If you can't tell she was LOVING them all!!

The pink straps in the last picture were from Pink On Earth...

A combo of fun presents...shopping with an apron, a baby, some food, backpack and necklaces.

Hannah with her mittens and again a few of her favorite presents still connected!  Hannah was expressing her shock of the next few pictures that greeted us Christmas morning!

Grandma Kathy's car with mommy's car behind it...

Beginning the dig out...thanks daddy...

A couple more drifts...sure did provide some good "Sleighing" with Josh and Shelli....

8 Great Grandchildren and Grandma Miller

For Christmas Eve, the Miller clan got together and had the opportunity to take pictures of Great Grandma Miller and 8 of her 12 great grandchildren - a feat for many reasons.  Marianna, Eli, Hannah, Cecilia, Emily, Shane - front row - Anza and Evelyn.

Another point of view amidst the chaos!

Smiles from a ticklish boy for Great Grandma Miller!

Telling stories...

Double trouble?...no - 2 sweethearts!

Ho!Ho!Ho!  Merry Christmas!

Sledding...or Sleighing?

Thanks to Shelli and Josh, Hannah got to experience sledding or, as she calls it, "sleighing" (thanks, jingle bells!).  She was hesitant at first, but learned to love it!  This was the week after Christmas.  What fun!  More pictures to come...sorry for the drought, fans...but mommy is working again, Eli has RSV, and Hannah has sinusitis and a right ear infection. =)  Hooray for winter and daycare - here's to hoping for perfect attendance in kindergarten because they've gotten everything before then...

Yummy snow!  Did I mention that this "hill" is in our front yard!  We had over 30 inches in the month of December.  The most in over 60 years!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, huh?

Hannah may be getting a little cold here, but still having a ton of fun!

Like I said, yummy snow!

Cardboard boxes work just as good as the real sleighs...

Nice snow pants, Uncle Josh!  Did you just get here from California or something?

And, finally, Hannah's snow angel.  Aunt Shelli worked hard for this one...now she lays on the floor of our livingroom saying, "I making an angel!  Where's Shelli?"

2 Reasons Not to Go Back to Work for Mommy...

Hamming it up for mom and dad...

Hugs...Eli wondering what is going on with a bit of fear involved...

First Dance...

A giant smile!

A sweet girl!

Even if she takes all of the napkins out and dumps all of the plastic silverware out of the pantry or...

Climbs in the tupperware cupboard while "helping" to clean it up...

Big helper...

Naughty or Nice and The Santa Claus

In an attempt to get a Christmas picture, I dressed the kids up and put them both in chairs.  However, my daughter - being 2 - decided to cooperate in her own way...mind you this was after being cooped up after 3 snow days last week...so I label this picture a little naughty and Eli just being Eli...

This was the best I got...boo!  Naughty!

Our nice boy!

Another try...a week later and Hannah's infamous "pony" on the top of her head...nice...

After being in line for 45 minutes at naptime, the pacy was in effect and Hannah was very tired.  She was such a good girl right up until...

...she was anywhere near "Papa Santa" - I did not need to be in this picture 2 months post-partum, but was forced if a Santa picture was to occur with both children...maybe next year.

Sugar Cookies!

As part of a 3 day process, I helped mommy make sugar cookies for Christmas.  I have had some practice with play dough, but the sugar cookie dough tastes much better!

This is mommy and me working on the frosting...it is "tasty" too!

Trying my hand at painting...

I was supposed to help with the sprinkles...again...rather tasty!  Don't tell mom and dad what I just did!

Tasting the combo of cookie, frosting, and sprinkles!

The end...notice my green sprinkle goatee...
