8 Months!

It is so hard to believe that our baby boy turned 8 months old today!  He is such a joy to our family.  He loves smiling and standing.  A great flirt!  He is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and really likes his mother.  He loves watching other kids and thinks his sister is something else.  Hardly ever a night goes by without the two of them laughing - I mean belly laughing - at one another.  A start to a wonderful friendship!  He grew a tooth over the weekend, but still will not crawl - too cute to watch him cry for too long.  Wish we could keep him little forever, but love watching him grow!

Please mom can I swim in the water?

Yeah BABY!  Kickin' it!

The end to a very long day!

Omaha Children's Musuem

We visited the Children's Musuem for the first time last weekend in honor of Clifford the Big Red Dog being there.  Clifford, along with lots of fun activities, were in store.  Here are a few photos from our day. This is a swing that goes up when there is a ball on the left and down when there isn't one.  Hannah liked this one just a little bit...

There is a giant room full of balls and air spouts - sometimes the balls go up...

Up and up...

Here is a spout that sucks the ball into the tubes...

Somehow we found a carousel...Hannah actually was brave enough to be on the horse that moved up and down.  She usually prefers the stationary animals...
Lovin' every minute of it!

Shoppin' at the museum grocery store...
Baby E and the infant room there...standing up...for those of you who know him,
I know you are shocked.

The Circus!

The Barnum and Bailey Ringling Brother's Circus is in town...our first circus experience!  There were acrobats, clowns, strong men, little people, tigers, elephants, and fire throwers - a definite circus.  Hannah woke up this morning asking if we could go to the circus again...

3 Chitlin's watchin' an elephant dance...

The night began with Lily loosing her tooth!

Sweet baby Cybella...6 weeks younger and about 10 pounds lighter than Baby E...

And our own circus act kids entertaining one another =)

Cookin' with J and S

When Josh and Shelli came to visit last week for Eli, I got to cook chocolate chip cookies!  I am really trying to convince this uncle of mine to let me just eat the chunks of butter - I love them - I am smiling with my eyes to try to convince him!

Concentrating while stirring with Shelli - I am an intense cook!

Finally the beaters - my favorite part - yep I licked them both plumb clean!

Smiles!

Hannah loved getting to say "Happy Mother's Day"
which was more like "Happy Smothers Day."
We had a conversation that went like this...
Hannah - My mother is Sarah
Sarah- My mother is Grandma Kathy
Hannah - Grandma Kathy is my Grandma
Sarah - Grandma Kathy is my mother
Hannah - Ok -We can share...

Lovin' the food!  Lovin' the sister!

"Cheese" on my bike from Jeff.
Our conversation about the bike goes like this...
Hannah - Who bring me my bike?
Sarah - Jeff
Hannah - Why Jeff bring me my bike?
Sarah - Because he is daddy's good friend.
Hannah - Jeff bring me my bike because he loves me and he is my friend.  I love everybody.
(Hannah then proceeds to talk about everyone in the family and how she loves them...)
