Paint!

Saturday morning with mountains of snow outside...what better to do than paint?

This was the beginning...not so bad, right?

Then the REAL artist came out and dumped out...

And dumped some more...check out that hair...

Why not drink it right?  Yeah I was cringing too...

The end of Eli's fun...

Hannah has come a long way...much less of a mess.  Very good artist - serious too.

Snow!

 Remember this...well...similar hill..
New year!  Had to get in on the 10 or so inches of snow since Hannah has been waiting to make a snow angel since 2009!  She made one in the corn at a pumpkin patch, but not the same effect!  So it was sledding...
 and snow angels...
So...Eli was mad...too bundled AND no pacifier...
Much better...the "NO FEAR" baby returns!

And one of many sleigh rides!

Kaleidoscope

After Christmas, we ventured to Crown Center,KC for some FREE fun.
Hallmark has a kids art area with 45 minute sessions to paint, color, draw, make puzzles -
you name it.  This is what is at the end.  I just like this picture because this is how these 2 are...
Eli totally looks up to this little girl...
loves the ground she walks on and torments that ground a bit, but loves her!

Painting crowns and glasses...they have a paper dryer and a place with soap and clean water!
This was a spot with unlimited Crayola washable paints.

Eli painting a little...eating the paintbrush a little...you know... a little here...a little there...

Concentration...

Drawing even more at the Crayola store...

Crayola

As the 2nd part of our Crown Center, KC fun,
we had some lunch and found this great sign...
We also went to the Crayola Fun Center!  Everything looks like crayons.
You can climb, slide, go through tunnels...basically run like crazy and it is OK.
A glimpse into Hannah's fun...

 Hangin' in the Crayola House...
Grandma...do you REALLY think I need assistance going down this slide?

Eli's preferred method...0 to 60mph...NO FEAR!

Smilin' with Frosty!

Las Princesas

Hannah got some princess dress-up clothes for Christmas -
thanks Costco - by look on her face...she might have liked them a bit...

Our pensive princess..."when will my prince come?"

Daddy had to get in on some princess business...
especially since the last few days we were at Grandma Kathy's
Hannah was taking a "day off from my prince today."

And the infamous lollipops...thanks Santa.
Too bad they are still in Lawrence...wink,wink.
We get asked about them daily...
