School Days...

Hannah and her Miss Becky.  Hannah and Becky go back 3 years together.
Hannah couldn't be more excited to finally be in Miss Becky's fun class!

Eli's Miss Amanda and Miss Michelle.  Eli thought that he was being left
instead of just getting a picture with his teachers.  He loves them too!

Getting ready to go outside.  Looking at the weather for the day!

Center time - one of Hannah's favorite activities.
She usually plays in the Art Center like this picture and
the House Center where she is either the teacher or the mommy - priorities you know.

Eli and glue - yes the favorite exploration of the senses.
Can't tell he is enjoying himself much?

Finger prints!

Spring is on its way...

Finally...spring has started springing!  A gorgeous day turned into
5 hours of play thanks to Grandma Kathy.

The "cheese" face.  He thinks he is sooo funny!

Hammin' it up...lovin' the space to run!

Hmmm...
Lovin' to swing!
Nobody was having any fun in this picture...wink...wink!

Nearing the end...not as excited to go down the slides, but...
We haven't seen Hannah yet.  Hannah loving her new tent!

Smilin' behind bars...

Yes, my girl wearing her dress to slide...it is a side of her tomboy toughness, right?

Swingin' and hammin' it up...

Thank goodness for Grandma's action setting...
she is holding on for dear life here, but looking mighty cute!

Hannah's running - her action photo for Grandma!

Eli's slide landing...

True for the end of the day...not wanting to leave or go inside...no matter how tired we are!

Pre and Post-Op

Yep - this is 530AM last Wednesday.  We decided to have both the kids get tubes and
Hannah get her GIGANTOR tonsils out after wresting with snoring like an old man,
mouth breathing, and fear of choking on food.
Here's is a glimpse of last Wednesday, a day mommy is ok with NOT re-living!

The bubba before his first explosion which was followed by two more episodes
of oral explosions...needless to say -
mommy was in 3 different pants and shirts by 730AM.  That just isn't right...
Good news is that baby E was home by 930am.
Muck removed from ears and haven't seen a runny nose since -
we're lovin' it!

Because H got so many things done, she got to spend the day and night at the hospital.
There were no beds on the floors so we spend 10 hours -that's right folks - more than a workday
in the pre/post-op unit.  Tiny room.  Don't be jealous you weren't her mommy.
Thank goodness for Wi-Fi!  And of course, crayons!

Concentration...especially not to sleep!

Finally 11 hours later, E came to visit H in the hospital as we finally had a room.
Do you all think we needed to stay???

H was loving the popsicles and ice cream.  She ate 3 popsicles right away.
Yeah, her first ones ever.  I hope after the crazy time at the hospital she is not compelled to want more after these 2 weeks of recovery.

Finally, 730am the next day.  Can you tell by her face it was a bit of a rough night?
We slept for about a total of 6 hours - not consecutive mind you...poor strong-willed babe.
P.S.  Mommy is still waiting for a good night's sleep...a week later...

Snow Day!

It was FINALLY warm enough to spend time making a snowman.
Here is the Daddy Snowman.
Not the best smile...but cheese =)

The Hannah Snow woman.

Eli's contribution...snow eating contest - he won!

The backyard snow fort!

And we mustn't forget the snow angels!

Stylin' with the gloves!

Tah-DAH!

The Rascal #1.

The Rascal #2.

Sweet babe on a cold Sunday afternoon...

The sweethearts we love!

Choo-Choo

Finally 2 months later - he is playing with his train from Santa...

Lots of stacking...lots of "choo-choo"ing!
