Topeka Children's Museum

Last Friday we were lucky enough to visit Grandma Kathy
so we took a field trip to the Topeka, Kansas Children's Museum.
Hannah obviously loved the face painted butterfly and then worked to make a princess house.

While the princess house was being constructed, Eli was working on fire truck puzzles - pretty proud!

There was a wood workshop for all ages.  Daddy and Hannah made a car...both so proud!

Mommy and Eli sawing the wood for the car...

There was also this "glass house" where the kids could paint and then wipe it off of the walls.  Here is Hannah deep in her artistic flow...

LOVE PAINT!

Eli trying his hand at painting.  Both the kids were so excited!  Such concentration.

Double-fisted painter!  Can you even stand how cute he was in the apron?

Working on the princess house.  Mommy - I am not ready for a picture!!!!

Vala's Pumpkin Patch

It seems that it has become a yearly tradition for Hannah to go to Vala's pumpkin patch the weekend before her birthday.  The Vala family has a large acreage where they yearly grow thousands of pumpkins.  They have some live animals and use a ton of people to help them make a family fun spot every fall.  Here is a quick photo on the train...Eli not so sure as we hadn't started yet.

Rollin' on the Choo-Choo...E couldn't be happier!

Hangin' in his own wooden choo-choo train - hard to get the little man out of there!

The Corn Pit - no fun at all - wink!

Yeah, he's being naughty - throwing corn at people...

Jumping with Caitlin on the trampoline surface...not sure who is having more fun!

Swingin' on the tire...

Ridin' the horse swings...

Hannah on her pony ride.

E on his first pony ride.

Pumpkin trouble...

Micky Mouse with 3 cuties!

A couple more...

Sweet, happy boy...

3 cooperate...1 ghost wouldn't...

Peek-a-BOO!

Just silly...

Grandma, don't you think this is where I belong?

H and Grandma on the tractor ride...

The tractor playground...E lovin' it.  Hannah is mad she didn't think to drive 1st!

That's better.

Sweet girl with a sweet ending to the morning at Vala's!
